How often do you overlook/miss things?
For the amount of recipes that pY has im sure we all miss things either from recipes or just not using our heads. How of them do y'all miss things?
A good example I'll give that I had was wood being used as fuel. After about 35+hours I was struggling (though still making progression) with power but didn't want to expand my boilers do to ash clogging up everything even if I was constantly expanding ways to get rid of it (hard mode mind you).
Once I got my splitters I decided to build my intermediate bases away from my starter and use logs as my main source of fuel, built a city block dedicated for log production, 36 foresters and realized that it wasn't going to be enough to handle the scale I was going to push given their fuel value.
I have been consistently looking at fuel items and kept looking around but nothing would be sustainable that wouldn't give ash as a by product.
Then I eventually got my head out of my but and realized that even though wood had half the fuel value of logs, the return of how much wood you get from logs is a considerable amount. I forgot to multiply the the amount of wood you get with its fuel value and compare it to the logs, especially since I took the T.U.R.D buff that doubled the amount of wood you get. Now I'm up to my neck in logs and wood.
I know it won't be the last time this will happen on having oversight on something but it still cracks me up I did that.
