This is sad to see. Fernando Dutra muttering something to a constituent and giving her looks that could kill. The video was posted on IG peopleunion and reposted by @reformwhittier account.

“What Alejandra claims appears to be true. Although we don’t read lips, we can confirm he did mutter something at them. He was upset they were heckling him and that’s all it took. He owes those ladies an apology.

The video apparently shows her recording him and he does not appear to know that. She captures him calling her “irrelevant.”. This video does not show that, but sure you can find it on her account.

In front of at least 100 people he appear to say something to them and give them “dirty” looks, probably the worst we’ve ever seen him do because he’s done that to us in the past. It comes with the territory of calling people out for corruption, but does not excuse it.

Can you imagine having a councilmember that loses it in front of a large crowd and appears to curse and give dirty looks?

We do NOT want a councilman that does that or representing us in that fashion. It is unprofessional, unwarranted, and not needed to convey a message.

Please take this into consideration when casting your vote this April. Vote Dutra out and let’s get professionals people who can handle stress gracefully like Vicky Santana, Aida Macedo, and James Becerra. “
