Style Differences between boy and girl clothes [on]

I think this is on my mind with all of the things that have come out in the Epstein files and having a little girl but I can't wrap my head around the differences in styles for literal babies and toddlers.

Of course, I'm not an idiot and I know I can buy the boy styles (which I frequently do) but I think the messaging and principle behind all of it is on my mind heavily these days. I'm not some crazy ultra-extreme prude but like these are literal children and I can't understand why companies are making these style choices for babies and toddlers.

For example, this set at Costco. Why can't it all be the same style?
