HELP WITH IEMS POLARITY. DRIVING ME CRAZY (lots of photo inside)
I'll try to explain the problem as simply as possible, because it's driving me crazy.
According to several YouTube videos and Reddit threads, I understood that in a 2-pin connector (not QDC), the standard is that the pin closest to the ear or the circumference of the cable is the positive pin. (Rear pin)
With this in mind and knowing that KZ uses the same standard for its QDC connectors, I bought several cables.
KZ ST12 2-pin style (purchased for my Aful and Waner 2 Lion)
--------------------
REAR PIN = POSITIVE
FRONT PIN = NEGATIVE
KZ ST12 QDC style (purchased for my KZ IEMs)
----------
REAR PIN = POSITIVE
FRONT PIN = NEGATIVE
PROBLEM
---------------
I thought the standard was that the REAR pin was positive...
I have discovered that on my AFUL EXPLORER and my Waner 2 Lion, it is the other way around. The positive pin is on the FRONT PIN. Now I can't use the 2-pin Kbear ST12 cables with the Aful Explorer or the Lion.
QUESTION
---------------------
What cable should I buy for the Aful Explorer and the Lion?
Is the polarity of the Aful and the Lion reversed, with the front pin as +?
