How do I force one long column of many pages into 2 or 3 sets on page one going downward?

I used to be great with Word in my twenties, but in my 40s, I worked at a satellite office as an Assistant Manager for almost 10 years, only needing to use email and supervising the employees. The office headquarters sent out the needed paperwork daily, so I forgot a lot.They closed down just after COVID, in the "summer of lazy employees", 2021. Now, I'm in my 50s and finally back to a full-time normal office position.

Say I have a set of 3-4 columns that's 16 pages long. But what I actually want is: I go under Page Layout, Select Scale: 50%. Great, the set of 4 columns goes from 1-25 perfectly, and is very clear and readable, now I have room in the right side for exactly 26-50 set of next 4. (Or, even say 3 perfect columns, if needed, wanted, instead of just 2), Then Page 2: 51-75 4 columns left side, 76-100 right side?
