Shinamono 過去の戦士 (Kako no Senshi)
→ Shinamono: Warrior of the Past

Age 760 – Birth and Initial Trauma

Shinamono was born on Planet Sadala, the son of Lirina (a Tsufurujin) and Shinamaro (a Saiyan). His childhood was abruptly shattered when the malevolent faction of the Saiyans invaded his region and murdered his mother. Shinamaro fled with his son in his arms, seeking refuge among the benevolent Saiyans and allied Tsufurujins. The boy was received with caution, as he carried mixed blood and a recent trauma he did not yet know how to name.

Age 761 – Escape and the Father’s Sacrifice

When the hideout was discovered, Shinamaro placed Shinamono in a capsule bound for Planet Plant and surrendered himself to enemy forces. Captured rebels were fitted with explosive collars to prevent betrayal, and Shinamaro accepted that fate as the price of his son’s survival. Shinamono did not fully understand what happened that day; he only felt the permanence of absence.

Age 762 – Shelter on Planet Plant

On Planet Plant, Shinamono was taken in by Tuvena, a young Tsufurujin who assumed responsibility for raising him, and her daughter Fina, who became his adoptive sister. Shortly afterward, she brought another child to live in the same home, Mella, a Saiyan orphan. Her parents, Galiya and Cantalor, had died during an attack on Sadala while trying to protect her.

Shinamono’s first reaction was silent rejection. He immediately withdrew. To him, the presence of another Saiyan in the only place that represented safety was unsettling. Mella symbolized the race that had destroyed his family.

The shift began when Shinamono overheard Tuvena explaining how Galiya and Cantalor had died defending their daughter until the very end. That revelation dismantled his simplistic view. He began to see Mella not as a representative of a race, but as someone who had also lost everything.

Compassion came before friendship. Their coexistence evolved slowly, first tolerance, then dialogue, then partnership. The bond that formed did not arise from affinity; it arose from shared pain.

Shinamono’s natural potential caught the attention of Helixor, a Light Blue Namekian. Before living on Planet Plant, Helixor had been the resident Namekian of Planet Furutsu, home of the Kudamonoseijins, a pacifist, refined civilization deeply disciplined in the use of Hidden Ki.

The Kudamonoseijins had always maintained a certain prejudice against Saiyans. To them, Saiyan culture represented aggression, emotional instability, and a tendency toward destruction, everything their society sought to avoid. Helixor understood that cultural tension well.

Before departing for Planet Plant, he left sealed archives and formal instructions for the future generations of Furutsu. The record stated that, in case of emergency, he might send individuals through temporal magic and that such individuals should be treated as the direct responsibility of Furutsu’s council, regardless of their race.

The warning remained preserved as a historical protocol, even without any concrete expectation of being used.

Age 765 – Internal Conflict and Emotional Tension

During training under Helixor, Shinamono’s resentment toward the Saiyans became more structured. He feared his own nature. Mella, in contrast, accepted her identity without guilt.

That contrast generated constant tension. Whenever Shinamono exceeded limits in combat, he would withdraw afterward, trying to suppress any trace of savagery. Mella noticed, but respected his silence.

Their bond matured, but Shinamono refused to move forward emotionally. He associated attachment with vulnerability.

Age 767 – Invasion and Rupture

The malevolent Saiyans located Planet Plant. Helixor gathered Tuvena, Fina, Mella, and Shinamono and led them to the fortified underground chamber prepared for temporal displacement.

An explosion destroyed the corridor during the evacuation. Tuvena and Fina were trapped beneath the rubble. There was no time for rescue.

With the enemies approaching, Helixor initiated the spell. Mella pushed Shinamono and Helixor into the chamber and activated the external seal, remaining behind to delay the invaders.

The spell was anchored to coordinates previously synchronized with Planet Furutsu. Helixor did not choose the destination randomly; he activated the emergency protocol he had recorded decades earlier.

The temporal distortion fragmented the group. Tuvena and Fina met uncertain fates. Mella disappeared after confronting the enemies. Shinamono was cast alone into Age 783.

Age 783 – Awakening on Planet Furutsu

When Shinamono appeared on Furutsu, the shock was immediate. The council recognized Helixor’s magical seals and confirmed the authenticity of the protocol.

The problem was not legitimacy. It was race.

A Saiyan had been sent to the most pacifist planet in the sector. The initial reaction was explicit distrust. Many Kudamonoseijins questioned Helixor’s historical decision. To them, accepting a Saiyan represented cultural and strategic risk.

The situation was resolved through the intervention of Furutsu’s current leader, the son of the ruler who had personally known Helixor at the time of his departure. He had witnessed the seriousness of the records left years earlier. He recognized the energetic patterns of the spell and formally declared that the young arrival was the planet’s responsibility.

The decision did not eliminate prejudice, but it prevented rejection.

Shinamono grew up on Furutsu under silent surveillance. He was never openly harassed, but he was always observed. Every emotional outburst reinforced suspicion. Every display of control reduced resistance.

Trained in the arts of Hidden Ki, he learned extreme energy suppression, vital flow reading, and absolute emotional containment. His style became technical, minimalist, and precise, almost the opposite of the Saiyan stereotype.

External prejudice accelerated his self-control. He began to see discipline not only as a personal philosophy, but as a social necessity. If he failed, he would confirm what others expected of him.

The memory of Mella remains an internal fracture. He knows he was saved through Helixor’s strategic planning, yet emotionally he carries the feeling of having been the one left behind, not the one who stayed to fight.

His final philosophy consolidates around four pillars: control, responsibility, protection, and prevention of collapse.

And he maintains one silent rule he never verbalizes: never allow uncontrolled emotions to define his destiny, nor allow the prejudice of others to define who he is.
