How bad is the starry ore bottleneck?

I’m a returning player from like 10 years ago. It’s been fun for the past few months but the grind is real. I’m only a TH13 and I’m starting to think the CoC grind isn’t for me.

I play another game that is 100x more grindy and I picked up CoC (again) to fill in the void for those occasional progression feels and dopamine hits I’ve been missing out on with my other game. I don’t want to full on grind CoC and I’m not a big fan of time gating content and P2W.

I see a lot of players talk about the starry ore bottleneck so I guess my question is how bad is it? For the players that are full on grind mode in Electro+ leagues, doing your daily clan wars, raid weekends and whatever else to obtain starry ore, how often do you get to upgrade your epics? And at what lvl do you start to feel the starry bottleneck?
