Insurance no longer covering as of July

I started Wegovy in June of 2025 and it has been a miracle drug for me. I started at 222 and am now at 178. It’s helping my prediabetes, high cholesterol, etc. I feel like a new human and I wish I could stay on the meds forever!

ETA: I’m currently on the 1.0 dose.

However, my employer will be stopping coverage as of July 2026.

I have a strong feeling I will gain most if not all of it back once the food noise returns.

I am a single mom with not a ton of extra $ to spare.

I am willing to make a sacrifice though to stay on something.

Do you think if I reach my goal by July (I think I will!) that I could go on the lowest dose of the Wegovy pill to maintain?

I’m trying to find the cheapest option that will also work.
