Finding a way to LEGALLY get the firearm for me

Haiya all! Im turning 21 soon and want to get a firearm to defend my self since im queer. Is there any chance I can get something in 300 blk that isn't a bolt action and isn't heavily restricted? Or maybe like an automatic shotgun that isn't ya know? Regular stock? I'd how to describe it. Like the old style stock on like an old 870. Anywho thanks for the help. If all else fails im just gonn save up and get a spas 12 with sporting stock.
