Can Konoha 12 beat Team Blue Lock at football?
The Konoha 12 are magically transported to Japan to test out how well Team Blue Lock could do against magical opponents. The Konoha 12 are explained the rules of Football and have 30 minutes to organise their team, formulate a strategy and essentially prepare for the match. Team Blue Lock consists of the members available for the U-20 arc. The Konoha 12 are at their Chunin Exams level of strength.
Rules:
- The ninja aren't allowed to use their jutsu in any way that would outright break the rules of football without getting carded, so, for example, Sasuke can't just use Chidori to kill or completely disable Isagi without getting a red card.
- The Konoha 12 can use Shadow Clone Jutsu to supplement their ranks, but can't use it to have more than 11 members on the field at once.
- Base speed is equalised, but any Jutsu that grants additional speed or strength is fine. So, TenTen can't just speedblitz the game, but Rock Lee can unlock the gates and increase his speed that way, and Neji can use his Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven, etc.
Round 1:
- Both teams go in blind, not knowing what the other team is capable of, and without any serious prep time. Team Konoha only know the basics of football.
Round 2:
- Team Blue Lock is given prep time and all the relevant information on every single member of the Konoha team, and Jinpachi Ego sets up a high-tech course meant to emulate the abilities of the Konoha ninja for Blue Lock to train against. They have 14 days to prepare in these conditions, while the Konoha team are subject to the same rules as round 1.
Round 3:
- Football is now assumed to exists as a sport in the Land of Fire and all members of Team Konoha are familiar with it, but none of them are career players. Team Bluck Lock is subject to the same rules as round 2.
Can Team Blue Lock win any of these rounds despite their opponents having literal supernatural powers, or are they doomed from the start?
