Help with logistics and best beginner-intermediate runs in Heavenly resort

Question

Hi, I am an anxious first timer heading to the Heavenly resort this weekend. We plan to take shuttle from our accommodation in Stateline to the the Heavenly Village. I understand that from there we would need to take the Gondola up the mountain first. However, I am unsure what to do after that. I would really appreciate your help with the questions below. Thanks!

  1. Is there a place/locker area where we can leave our stuff (extra layers, change of shoes, etc) while skiing and while exploring the village apre ski? I imagine it will be inconvenient to carry all the ski equipment and walk in ski boots around the village, so I am hoping there is a locker where I can leave my stuff safely...

  2. I am an advanced-beginner/intermediate level skier. What would be the best run for me to start at Heavenly? I would like to have a good visibility, wide and well groomed run with lower crowds as much as possible, not too steep but still a bit of a challenge so I can make progress. AI recommends Ridge Run, is it really my optimal choice?

  3. I am a bit unsure how to get from the Gondola to the Ridge Run and back, looks like there is no direct lift there. Is there staff on the mountain that can help me with directions? I see signs "ski patrol" on the map, I assume they would be able to help?
