Restaurants that are hiring now?

Noticing that a lot of restaurants say they’re hiring but don’t seem to be in any hurry to actually hire. We moved here about a month ago and my partner has been applying like crazy. She has plenty of experience in serving and bartending, and she’s totally competent, so the only reason I can think of is that it’s a slow season for dining out.
