[Rant/Vent, No Advice]

I ran away at 15 I’m 17 now, but something that happened when I was 15 still sticks with me. One morning I asked for ₹20 for transportation to school. They refused even though they had money. I was already upset because the whole summer I stayed home while everyone else went out, and I was really excited to finally go to school and meet my friends. When they said no, I lost my temper and screamed. I know that was wrong, but I had been holding in frustration for a long time. After everything blew up, they suddenly gave me ₹500 — but by then school timing was over. Out of anger I said I’d leave and not come back. They told me to go. So I actually walked out and went toward the station with that ₹500. My uncle saw me but I didn’t answer him. I just had tears in my eyes. Soon my family realized and came to take me back. I honestly thought I’d get slapped or yelled at when I returned, but they didn’t say anything. Instead they cooked my favorite food and even brought fast food. It confused me so much because just hours earlier everything felt so harsh. What hurt most was later hearing the lady who lives on rent in our house tell my parents that if she were in their place, she would’ve beaten me badly. Even now things at home still feel toxic sometimes, and that trapped feeling comes back. Just wanted to share here to see if anyone else relates.
