I need help understanding a few things...

I recently started playing Darkest Dungeon 2 (on ps5). Unfortunately, I struggle to understand many of the mechanisms. I've already tried to find information... but most of it is in English, and after translating it into German, not everything is understandable to me.

I'm at the third confession (Obsession). I understand that at the beginning of each confession, the heroes get two random Quirks (correct?).

In all my expeditions in Obsession (unfortunately without success), all the heroes had the same negative quirks multiple times!

>The effects are always: - % chance of positive relationships and + % chance of negative ones.
(I don't know the exact English names for them.)

Are these the starting conditions for the third confession? Is that how it's supposed to be?
Or have I just incredibly bad luck?😂🥲
