44 FM Looking for advice on where to start

question

If de-conditioned were a state of being… I reached zen mastery long ago. I’ve gotten a late in life ADD diagnosis and am properly medicated for the first time in my life. Combine this with a few life altering injuries that mostly kept me in fear of exercising without the very expensive help of a personal trainer, I would not call myself well appointed in the art of caring for my body. I want to change that.

My main goals are to improve my base level of core strength, flexibility, overall health, and I wouldn’t mind tightening some of my wiggly areas.

I’ve recently lost around 30lbs due to that new ADD medication and cutting out some bad eating habits. I have a fair way to go before I could be considered a healthy eater, but I’m motivated to get there.

I do have a fused C5-C6 vertebra, a history or right shoulder repair and chronic bursitis in that shoulder. I also have sciatica from an old lower back injury.

Help a girl out. Where do I start? Yoga? The gym? Talk to me like I’m a toddler friends.
