From grind to unwind: How my job culture shock turned into appreciation

Moving to Finland from a high-pressure corporate scene was like hitting a giant pause button on life. My first week was filled with confusion. Coffee breaks every couple of hours seemed like a waste of time at first! But then I realized these pauses weren’t distractions. They were essential resets for our brains. Workdays are organized around respect for personal boundaries here. Chatting in the break room often feels more meaningful than the actual meetings that follow. Anyone else feeling like less grind equals more creativity? Let's share some hacks!
