2024 Model, anyone replaced Liquid Metal for Honeywell PTM7950?

I have the 2024 Model, and I want to take it to MicroCenter ASAP to replace the Liquid Metal for PTM7950 for Longetivity, yes.

Anyone who did do this Process, has it worked as per usual afterwards?
