Bad experience with Dr Mansi / Dr Millson-Brown: Am i the only one?
As the title says. I started seeing Dr Mansi (private endo) after reading amazing things about the Yorkshire Gender Clinic and in particular Dr Millson Brown who trained Dr Mansi. However, my experience so far has been terrible. Very little communication, my initial appointment to go on hormones was so brief, Dr Mansi was dimissive, didn't address half my concerns/ medical worries, didn't make me feel more confident about administering my own injections but worse about it, didn't provide any guidance when I was struggling, her office always takes ages to get back to me and on 3 occasions now has not gone back to my email at all... like what is this? I am paying so much money for each appointment for the privilege of being ignored and made to feel like a burden? In one of her emails she basically told me to look for something up online, like why am i even paying for you then? I would expect a better level of care from a private clinic, but honestly I am getting more support/help through my NHS gp that has now agreed to do shared care than through Dr Mansi and her office.
Just a rant and advice for people looking for an endocrinologist rn i guess, but also has anyone got experience changing private clinic while doing shared care for hrt?
