Turntable vinyl crackling and sub hum

Hi all..I'm new to analogue vinyl..I have a Fluance RT81+ turntable with Ortofon 2M bronze, Willsenton R8 tube amp, Douk T9 preamp, Klipsch Heresy 4's and a REL T/5x sub.. My issues are as follows: My records sound too bright with muddy mids, slight him in sub, and even with brand new, cleaned records, im hearing pops and crackles. The tonearm, balanced and leveled, is set to 1.6g with antiskate at 1.7. any thoughts here??
