I didn't think IT was real

Spoilers ahead!

I did not think IT was real. I did not believe while watching that Logan actually died inside a freaking plane bathroom. It's not a show of trickery or complex plot twists, but for the entire episode, the way it was prolonged, I felt like he was just faking an illness for a maneuver. Did anyone else had the same thoughts?

Obviously it was very unlikely that he faked it. I just didn't expect him to go like that. He was the center of it all. It just seemed like a fake/plot twist thing is more likely than a random death. Is it just me?
