R9 Purchase?

For those of you lads and ladies that purchased an R9:

1. Did you physically play it in person? Thoughts on buying one off Reverb?

2. Would you say, aside from the idea of it being Custom Shop, that it’s worth the price difference? Even if bought used?

Looking at one I Reverb I really like the look of, but it feels daunting to consider buying an LP without playing it.
