I really don’t know what litter to get? Also how do i stop my kitty from poop paws!!?

Ive been using arm and hammer litter for some time now but notice there is SO much tracking and maybe it’s because my kitty is small and has tiny paws. But this drives me crazy and I want to switch because of the mess it makes. The only good thing about this litter is it seriously leaves NO scent at all but tbh i’m usually scooping her poop right after she is done because of how many times she accidentally steps on it (can someone please tell me how to get over this hump? i usually watch her to see if she will scoop around it but most of the time when shes done covering it she will just stop right on it cause poop paws! YUCK!). I keep seeing people mention clay litters and tidy cats and worlds best comes up a lot but i seriously need some recommendations and any experience you’ve had with said litter. thank you all so much!!
