Soft Rejection from Cornell

Just got an update from the PI I cold-emailed before. The CSL is not hiring "agressively" this cycle because the funding situation is really bad. If you haven't heard from any professor by now, it may not be a good sign.

I think I am done with Cornell. But didn't Cornell just got like 100 miliion dolloars donation from rich alumni? ？
