My grandmother passed away in September and I think I'm just now starting to feel the anxiety.

Does Anyone Else...?

A the title states, my grandmother passed in September. Her and I were pretty close. I quit my job and moved in with her for a few months to take care of her when she fell a few years back. I visited her everyday after work when she was in a SNF for a few weeks last year. I loved her.

I knew her time was coming, and she was on home hospice. My mom called me told me, I wasn't really all that moved or surprised. I had expected it and honestly I think she made it longer than I had expected. Of course I grieved and cried. Went by her house to "chat" with her when I was really missing her. But overall I thought i handled it pretty well.

Now though, months later my anxiety has really cropped up. Mostly health anxiety, or anything that usually makes me anxious. I've had more panic attacks in the last few months than I have in the last 5 or 6 years. And my anxiety is constant, mild to moderate all day.

I started seeing a therapist 2 weeks ago, but only once every 2 weeks. Ya boy is broke. I don't know what I'm hoping to get from this post, maybe I just needed a little venting. But has this happened to any of you? Almost like a delayed response?
