Picture Frame Molding Under Window Looks "Off".

Recently, we had some picture frame molding installed up the stairs to match existing trim work on the other side of the foyer. We are happy overall but something looks "off" in this one area under the window shown in the picture.

Does this look right? Please share ideas on how you would improve it.
