I’ve been questioning my type recently, and decided to take this test again, but I’m still not sure what this test means.

I’ve gone through a few life changes, graduated university, got a full time job in my field (for reference, I am a graphic designer), and am now in the process of moving out of my parents house. I feel like I’ve become a lot more career focused, as in I am constantly thinking about how to improve my skills, move up in my field, and experience more in life like traveling, trying new hobbies and things that I didn’t have the time or money for while I was in university.

I’ve also become deeply preoccupied with becoming as independent as I could possibly be. Over the years, I’ve come to the realization that I was raised in a family that is way too co-dependent on one another, to an unhealthy level. So much so that any strive for independence, such as wanting to move out, was seen as something that was unreasonable. I feel like I have been confided to an archetype that was decided for me by my parents when I was a kid. The archetype being a kind, shy, sensitive pushover. And beginning in late teenage hood, whenever I expressed anger, expressed when someone or something upset me, and strived for independence , I was labeled as rude and mean, and that I “wasn’t acting like myself”. I was treated like I was “going against the family”. I was even called “rebellious” when I was 19 (lmao)

Through all of this, I and my close friends have noticed that I’ve become a much more direct and opinionated person. I’ve become unwavering in what I want, and I’m a lot more blunt and confrontational than I use to be.

I hope all that makes sense. What do you guys think? Have any of you guys been going through something like this recently?
