10 days in Sorrento Italy Itinerary - Thoughts? End of August 2026

Hi everyone! I have put together an itinerary for my upcoming trip to the Amalfi coast this summer.

I would appreciate any feedback on this & if there is anything you would add as a must have experience!

Day 1:

Arrive in Naples at approximately 10am

Take a private transfer to hotel in sorrento - we are staying in one hotel the entire time and doing day trips from there

Explore the area

Day 2:

Sorrento walking tour with Limoncello tasting in the morning

Late afternoon go to a pizza making class

Day 3:

Take a trip to Positano for the day via a private driver

Day 4:

Free Day with no pre planning

Day 5:

Early morning start for a boat tour to Capri, this would be approximately 8 hours

Day 6:

Mostly free day, at some point would like to do a wine tasting - if anyone has a recommendation for a nice place to do this, that would be greatly appreciated!

Day 7:

Half day tour to Pompeii via a private tour

Day 8:

Another mostly free day, would like to do a sunset boat cruise this evening.

Day 9:

Last full day, keeping it free for now!

Day 10:

Go home!

I am trying to keep this trip more chill, but still get to see a lot of beautiful areas.

If there is any sort of tour or area you recommend I visit, please let me know!

Am curious to hear your thoughts on this.
