Bought this used Pearl Soundcheck from GC about a year ago for $200. For the pedals, I bought a set of Tama Speed Cobra 310's, a Speed Cobra Hi-Hat stand, and swapped the original Pearl snare for a steel Yamaha 14x6. Since I'm still kinda learning, I just got some cheap Amazon cymbal stands for the crashes and ride, and they've held up well so far. Did the same for the cymbal set. They don't sound great, but they work for me, and I even grabbed a set of mesh cymbals to go with the Remo Silent Stroke heads I tend to throw on for quiet practice. As for the heads, at the time of the photo, I just put Evans EC2's on my toms as well as EC Resos, an EMAD2 batter and reso for the kick, and an HD Dry for the snare batter. The mics are a very cheap, entry-level set of Digital Reference mics, all hooked into a Mackie ProFX12v3 mixer behind the kit for monitoring.

Honestly, had I known used kits could be so practical, I never would have bought the older, all new kits I ended up having to sell years ago. At some point, I want to get a tom stand so I can mount my 10 and 12" toms more in line with my snare, but for now, this setup is functional for me.

P.S. - Yes, I know that Trashformer is in a weird position, lul. Trust me, it's a pain to hit that with the left hand.
