So i just woke up this morning and after a few minutes of laying in bed i went to brush my teeth. I don't use a toothbrush i use a miswak stick to brush my teeth. Today i thought i should brush my teeth bc i felt a lot of debree on my teeth and it was uncomfortable.

I usually dont brush my teeth (i know) but anyways some wood pieces were left in my mouth which is usually fine i usually spit it out and wash my mouth with water but today i noticed my throat felt uncomfortable. At first i thought it might have been a wood piece but it doesn't have the shape of that.

And i already tried swallowing, coughing, eating a piece of bread, i ate some textured cereal to hopefully get rid of it. I drank water and it's still there after hours. But just now i took a closer look at it and it looks more like tonsils? I think. I at first thought it was herpes but i do not engage in sexual activity with others. And i didint have other symptoms of herpes.

So now i think it's tonsils? But im not sure because i never had them. Can anyone confirm or deny? It looks to be a white mabie slightly yellow spot in the side of my throat? I tried scraping it gently with my finger but it's hard to do because of my gag reflex. And a little afraid i might damage my throat. Right now i will try to use warm salt water and then a cotton swab ig?... but if its not tonsils then i need help because ifk if i should go to a doctor?

I have no trouble swallowing i just have an uncomfortable feeling in my throat.

Is it a tonsil or a piece of wood?
