Travel parents: help needed to pick one stroller to rule them all šāļø
Weāre based in Europe and travel aĀ lotĀ internationally (usually involves at least one plane ride, then trains, city walking). I'm 36 weeks and weāre trying to chooseĀ one stroller that will be our primary stroller from birthĀ and also work for frequent flying. We're open to getting another stroller if we notice we can't manage with just the travel option, but realistically speaking we'll be on the road for 5-6 months out of 12.
Right now Iām strongly considering theĀ Bugaboo Butterfly 2Ā (EU version with full recline, so newborn compatible). I love how compact and travel-friendly it is. But I've been going back and forth on this for weeks now and need some advice from parents XD
My main concerns are:
- ItāsĀ not parent-facing
- Iām unsure how good theĀ suspension/wheelsĀ are for real-life use
Iām also looking at theĀ Joolz Aer/AirĀ and theĀ CYBEX Eezy S Twist +2Ā (love that itās parent-facing), but I worry those might be less reliable as carry-on options.
Would love to hear from those of you who travel frequently! How important was parent-facing in reality? Did suspension matter more than you expected? Maybe you have other stroller recommendations?
