Strange MAGA behavior from Wife's grandmother

So this 65 year old woman has been posting far right christian nationalist stuff on Facebook for the past year. Everything from calling the left a terrorist organization to praising ICE for the murder of Renee Good.

To be clear, she is STILL posting MAGA nonsense. However, mixed in with these posts are also posts with anti-capitalism "eat the rich" rhetoric, and even a post about acceptance and love towards LGBTQ+, atheists, and immigrants.

The conclusion we've come to is what little common sense she has left is telling her to have empathy for people, but at the same time she is full on 1984 rejecting the evidence of her eyes and ears.

Even now, MAGA continues to surprise me with their level of cognitive dissonance. Like, I've seen plenty of examples of contradictory views from them, yet it continues to reach levels I did not previously think were possible. It's almost like saying you hate everything about tomatoes while squeezing a bottle of ketchup straight into your mouth.
