Finally found a decent IPTV service in the UK after getting burned twice — here's what I'm using now
Hello everyone,
Right so I've been messing around with IPTV for about a year now and honestly the amount of dodgy services out there is unreal. Paid for two different subscriptions before this one and both were absolutely terrible buffering every five minutes, channels dropping during live football, the works.
A mate recommended I try KemoIPTV UK and I've not looked back since. Been on it about three months now and the streams are solid. No buffering issues, UK channels all work properly, and the EPG is actually accurate which sounds basic but so many services get this wrong.
What I'm running it on
I've got a Firestick in the bedroom and an Android box in the living room. The Android box is miles better for picture quality if you can stretch to one — handles 4K no problem. The Firestick does the job though, especially if you're just watching normal HD channels.
For the player I use IPTV Hot Player — clean interface, dead easy to set up, just paste your M3U link and you're watching in two minutes. Some people prefer IPTV Smarters Pro which has more features but I find Hot Player simpler for everyday use.
Setup takes literally five minutes
If you're on Firestick just enable unknown sources in developer settings, grab the Downloader app, install your player of choice, and enter the details from your subscription. That's genuinely it. Full setup guide on kemoiptvuk.com if you get stuck anywhere.
What to avoid
Stay away from anything under £3 a month with promises of 20,000 channels. It's always garbage. Pay a little more for something reliable and you'll actually enjoy it instead of rage-quitting every time a stream dies.
Happy to answer questions if anyone's thinking of switching took me a few tries to get it right but it's well worth it once you've got a decent setup going.
