Enigma slow teleport q

I’m one of the many returning to game after 20 years forgive the ignorance, when I was walking uphill both ways to school we didn’t have enigmas.

I equipped one on my bow zon an it was sooo slow on cast speed and drained mana. I have a gg fast cast cold sorc so maybe just unfair comparison.

Do builds without fcr / mana focus just live with slow teleport speed and mana drains? Any advice here?
