Am I going to be ok?

I had my first day of training today but took a wrong turn on the highway that made me late enough they turned me away from training. I asked my DSP if I could reschedule. Haven’t heard back yet (it’s been like only 30 min). My DSP is very chill and I’ve worked for them before. But is this something I can’t come back from? I feel so frustrated because I need this job and am not usually late for things. It’s just a bad look.
