How to/can i start ?

So for context im a 17 year old student and i will be 18 in 2027 so its still quite a while until then.

Now i was wondering if i can start dropshipping at 17 or would i need my parents permission ? (I have my own bank account and paypal but paypal is not fully set up yet as im pretty sure i need to add my bank details for it to work or ?)

And yes while i am old enough to work there is no part time jobs in my city (and i legally cant drive until 18 in my country, public transport also isnt ideal for various reasons) - i felt like maybe i could make something from dropshipping. Im not expecting any big numbers but anything will help as ill be on my own when i go to university and i would really like to be independent/ not constantly worry about money.

I have already heard that the best option for starting is shopify.

So apart from if i can start at 17 is there anything else i should be careful about ?
