I built a free web app that lets you send secret messages that self-destruct after being read — no signup, no accounts, no ads, no cookies, just pfff and it's gone [ https://www.pfff.app/ ]

Pfff is a free, playful web app for sending secret messages that self-destruct after being read.I built it as a side project recently.

Here's how it works:

  1. Type your secret

  2. Pick a self-destruct timer (1 min to 1 hour)

  3. Share via a link or a fun secret code

  4. Your recipient reads it — and when time's up, pfff... it's gone forever 💨

What makes Pfff different:

• Only ONE person can ever read the message — it locks to the first viewer

• Two sharing modes: simple link sharing, or password-protected with a secret code

• "Yeet This Message" button to nuke it early

• Closing the browser also triggers destruction

• Messages are completely wiped from the server after destruction — nothing is stored

• The message and passcode both are encrypted.

• Fun, colorful UI with countdown timers, confetti animations, and bouncy interactions

No accounts. No signup. No tracking. No data retention. No Cookies. Just type, share, and watch it vanish.

Would love your feedback — what would you want to see in V2?
