Herd Management question

I’m setting up tents and tripods/tree stands at my drink zones for a mule deer grind and I have one lake that has 2 drink zones, but has awful visibility and and animals often glitch saying they are drinking in the woods making it unpredictable and difficult to shoot. Should I abandon the zone? The best tree stands location I could find is very close to the drink zone and will definitely be a pain in the ass to get to without spooking.
