How do you discover good brands?
I was just reading this best brands thread, because this sub is one of the main ways that I find brands.
There were plenty of popular brands mentioned that I've heard of: Patgonia, Buck Mason, Uniqlo, Faherty etc.
But there were so many that I've never heard of and never seen an ad for: Wythe, Barbour, Freenote Cloth, Olderbest (technically a retailer, but still)
How are y'all discovering some of these brands, besides just finding them through other redditors? I'm trying to get hip to more brands beyond the obvious, mainstreams ones. Honestly, a lot of the brands I listed are a bit out of my price range ($200+ for a shirt), so I'd also love any suggestions on brands that are a step below this but still have decent quality. I know that quality won't be exceptional once you go down in price of course.
