Looking to make some kind of book or folder to store granny squares but stuck on how.

Hello all! I'm currently in the process of learning to spin yarn, and I love the idea of making a granny square from each new colour/fibre I use, but im not sure how to store them all? I did think of making a blanket but I fear the varying thicknesses and textures would drive me insane.

I really liked the thought of making a "book" either from some fabric or crochet, and attaching each square, plus a strand of the yarn and some details, however im worried about running out of room very quickly due to how fast the thickness would add up. Any suggestions or new ideas would be amazing :))
