Blocked cheek salivary gland??

Similar experience?

Hey all, adult braces haver just got put in about a month ago. I just came back from my ortho appt when I asked them about the weird bumps on my upper cheeks, they're extremley painful and I just squeezed it one day and a LOTTT of clear liquid came out and just seemed to keep coming. They said they've never heard of that before and they'll "look into it" for my next appt that's over a month away. Has anyone had this before or know any tricks for it? I plan on making a dentist appt soon for a better opinion but just in the mean time. They said I might have a nickle allergy (which i can't wear fake jewelry so may check out) but it only seems to be happening with friction. I feel like it may be scarring over and causing the glands to block, and just building up the saliva. I do wear wax when I feel uncomfortable and it just hasnt presented itself much, I did have a bracket come loose from the glue detaching so thay friction I believe is causing another one. I did salt water rinses multiple times a day, alcohol free anti bac mouth wash, and I keep up with my oral hygiene pretty well. Anyone else experience this?? I feel like having NO idea what it is coming from my ortho is a little concerning so I just wanted an opinion or any recommendations. Thank you :)
