People who use manners when they're being rude.

You know that person who does something rude or bad, and then they apologize. But then turn around and do the exact same thing?

Or they clearly do something that's rude and they use their manners, while still doing the bad thing.

Like saying "Excuse me" if you cut in front of someone in a line.

In the store and saw a parent who was letting her kids just run around and knock things over and even mess with strangers. She kept saying sorry but made 0 effort to stop her kids.

Just because you say "Please", "Thank you", "Sorry", or "Excuse me", while being rude or repeating such behavior, you're not being polite. You’re layering pretense over poor behavior, and it's not a good look.
