Am I cooked because I didn't get into btech?

Hi, for context I passed my 12th in 2024. Since lockdown, I'm studying by myself. I thought I'd prepare for the entrance exam, but I was doing distance learning, so no school. I was so stressed about boards, got 78%. Didn't give the entrance, everyone said do a distance degree and start preparing for government exams.

I got into coding last year, I wouldn't say I'm very good at it, but I'm also thinking if I don't do a slightly technical degree then I'd have nothing. I have already wasted my time.

Should I go for bca?
