What's an alternative to Nebivolol?
Currently taking daily dose of Telmisartan 80mg, Tadalafil 5mg (mostly for ED), Nebivolol 5mg.
I take Telmi & Tadalafil in the morning and Nebivolol at night. My BP is very stable. Unless I am doing it right outta shower or right after I walked five stories up, even then with a second measurement, in morning, I am consistently seeing anywhere between 105/75 to 120/85ish. A huge improvement from 160/110 I used to see.
Though my HR has been always high. Whether I measure it through my Apple Watch or BP cuffs, they are high. Resting HR usually hovers around in the 90s with what they call "walking average" on my Apple Watch reaching near 115bpm. I started Nebivolol last month, did a month of 2.5mg, then moved up to 5mg, been on it for a week and a half. I still don't see whole lot of improvement at all. Maybe a tiny bit, around 80-85bpm in RHR. I see people taking them and instantly going down to 60bpm, never happened to me.
Is this a dose problem or am I just a non responder to beta blockers? I tried Propranolol a while back with horrible side effects so Nebivolol is nice to take since I get no side effect on 2.5 or 5 whatsoever, maybe a tiny bit more tired?
