KCU-Kansas City campus: Question about housing!

I got accepted at KCU's Kansas city campus and wanted to find housing that is walking distance from the campus. I was most interested in the Courtyard on Maple right on campus but am also considering the PH apartments and Maple Flats apartments.

I've heard that the area is not good but I'm not someone who goes out in the evenings so I hope its not too bad.

I would really appreciate if any KCU students had any info about the Courtyard on Maple, PH apartments or Maple Flats Apartments or anyone that currently lives there is willing to comment/PM me to share how it is. Any info would really be appreciated. Thank you!
