Partner's job requires standing for 8 straight hours and they've been taking advantage of him.

My partner is a machinist, and he isn't allowed to sit at all, even right next to the machine. He has to stand on a comcrete floor for 8+ straight hours. Because apparently the second it takes to stand up is a liability if anything were to happen with the machine, according to the boss. Yet the other workers have been allowing the machine to run while they make him run and do all the choors in the shop that they are too lazy to do. Those choors end today. And i guess they will deal with the loss in supply around lunch break and bathroom breaks now.
