I've had this under neck beard type scarring since high school and it's not going away! Any ideas
Just as the title says and photo shows. I've had this annoying skin condition for over 15 years and it started as early as my sophomore year of high school. Hair will grow on my neck, I don't shave there as it is a sensitive area. I do pluck but only for the hairs. For a while I tried waxing but the wax would irritate my skin so bad that I'd get burn marks along with the scarring. I went to a dermatologist who did a once over at my face and apparently knew exactly what it was (the guy didnt even touch me or get a closer look). After getting the prescribed topical cream (it was a pretty aggressive retinol cream) I had the same reaction to it that I had with waxing, burns, itching and scarring so I stopped. If anyone has any idea what I could do to help this please let me know.
