Anyone using any instruments mod

I have two questions

1- what software do you use for macros to easily auto-play the instruments given that you have a file (midi maybe? Idk what file types are used)

2- any mod that can play these files (midi?) automatically like a jukebox ? I'm trying to avoid mods that play mp3 files since they cause lag
