Getting bored of math
Hi guys! O level student here. I want to ask about something regarding math; I want to know how I can enjoy it again.
Originally, math used to be rather difficult for me to do; in the last year or so, I've been practicing maths as a means of study. Over time I began to enjoy it and favoured doing math over other means of work.
However, now that all of my syllabus has been covered, I don't find math to be enjoyable as much now. I've tried to use other materials such as Martin Gardner's Colossal book of Mathematics and the book of proof to try and study it further; still, I feel bored of the subject. Doing the advanced level questions in my book or some of the hard ones doesn't make me feel satisfied anymore; it feels like I know it and it doesn't satisfy me; it feels oversaturated.
I initially wanted to start doing A level math as a means of harder math material; however, because my brother has to finish his A levels and I have been advised on just studying my O level curriculum because of my upcoming exams, I have to wait until summer before I can start doing work in that.
Any advice on what I should do?
