I lost my networth investing in crypto, how can I recover?

24 male, I am devastated, a year and a half ago I got pulled on the crypto currency world (bitcoin, etc) and I put $40,000 which is almost all the money I have saved up in my life. Right now its down around 90%. My family doesn't know, and I live alone in Canada, when we call I am always happy so they dont suspect something, but little do they know last couple months I have been getting no sleep, I need to overdose on melatonin to knock me out.

Its been getting bad to the level, I was having deep thoughts of jumping out of the balcony last week. I stopped going out, fearing spending money and have isolated myself from everyone. My monthly salary barely gets me by, with groceries, gas and all, I would have saved max $200 a month.

Any one got tips on what i can do? Been living this hell since end of 2024. If my dad knows of what I have done, he will literally k*ll me.
