Everything is soooooo dry!!!!!!!

Please help! I am running Abe 12 on Windows 11 and on a Mac Mini. I rendered separate tracks I am working on from separate projects on each platform yestereday and discovered that neither machine and neither project will render effects. Both render both wav files and mp3's but totally dry from the main outputs. the render effects button will select on dbut it won't register the same active color as other menu options. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
